Two killed, 20 wounded in Baghdad market attack…

BAGHDAD (AFP) – Two people were killed and 20 wounded when a sticky bomb attached to a car exploded at a market in southern Baghdad on Friday, police said.
The explosion occurred in Dora neighbourhood at around 8.00 am (0500 GMT) as traders gathered at a wholesale market to buy fruit and vegetables.
The incident came two days after twin truck bombs at the ministries of finance and foreign affairs left 95 people dead and around 600 wounded.
It was the worst day of violence seen in Iraq in 18 months and prompted the government to arrest 11 senior security officers after it admitted that the trucks should not have been allowed to pass nearby checkpoints.
