Bomb blast kills five in S Afghanistan…

A bombing attack has targeted Afghan soldiers in the country’s southern province of Uruzgan, killing at least five people, including two civilians.
The incident came on Tuesday when a bomber walked up to a military post and blew himself up at a military post 35 kilometers (22 miles) northeast of Tirin Kot, the provincial capital of Uruzgan.
Provincial police officials said three soldiers and two civilians were killed in the attack, while five other people, including civilians, were wounded.
Violence in Afghanistan climbs two days ahead of Thursday’s presidential elections amid vows by the Taliban insurgents to disrupt the polls.
