KABUL (AFP) — Three US soldiers deployed to fight extremists in Afghanistan were killed Thursday when their convoy was ambushed with a bomb attack and gunfire, the US military said.
The attack was in the province of Kapisa, just north of Kabul, where US troops are operating alongside hundreds of French soldiers.
